Besos para Working Class Magazine

I've just returned from a mini Holiday in South Africa and I feel great. My trip was incredible, if not definitely life changing.  I encourage you to visit South Africa not only for Safaris and intoxicating beaches but for its every day culture.  Expect to fall in love with the people as well as the food; wild game was my favorite!

Till then, please take in a read of this month's Working Class Magazine. I wrote 2 articles in their online issue for October 2008: Angela Chen of Orange and Tiffany Porter of Old Hollywood.

I admire both of these women for their creative and business minds. I cannot wait to see what they have in store for you and me.

Kids

I completed this project with Photographer Cara Howe over 4 months ago. We collaborated together on Styling and Props for our kids shoot.

It had been a while since I worked with children, and I was curious to see how our group would behave. The results of the the shoot surprised me; their moments of being still felt like forever! And all of them were totally cute---I actually felt like taking one home.

The Nest & Swirl

One of the best parts about freelancing in the city is that you never know what job you will be on next. It seriously changes week to week and the anticipation of finding out "who will book me" is scary at times but mostly exciting.

For the above job I was booked as an Asst. Prop Stylist for The Nest. Their September issue features Swirl Events. I don't want to spoil the entire story for you so please click here for more details and be prepared to learn something new about wine too.

Surroundings: Census

I looked up NYC's average census over the past 4+ years.

It seems as if there are about 9 million lovers of speed, uncertainty, excitement and fury living around me.

And, about 600,000 trees too.

Stellar.

What Not To Wear: TLC

The last few months have been spent shopping, shopping, and well, shopping!

As the PR Style & Shopping Coordinator for TLC's What Not To Wear, I booked over 30 shopping locations for the show, worked with an INCREDIBLE crew as well as FABULOUS HOSTS, Stacy London & Clinton Kelly.

The experience was amazing---Tune in and get hooked.

Belk & Kristen Davis Collection

I've been freelancing as a Stylist for Belk.com on the Kristen Davis account. Davis debuts her clothing line this fall exclusively at Belk. This project has been choice and I dare say her line will be flying off the racks once word reaches the masses.
